This formula is contraindicated in pregnancy. (Almost all of the plants in this formula fall into this category.) It is also contraindicated in people with cardiac weakness. Iris can cause gastro-intestinal irritation. A few of these plants are known to cause headaches. If any of these symptoms occur, the patient should contact their healthcare provider immediately. Some people are sensitive to the ingredient Phytolacca americana (poke) and will experience a friable (burning) sensation in and around the mouth. In that situation, have the patient stop taking Turska's. It may take as long as 2 weeks for this sensation to completely resolve.
